Support Worker
At Devoted Supports, our Support Workers do more than provide assistance — they help people build confidence, develop practical skills, and move towards greater independence.
We work alongside people with neurodiversity, psychosocial disabilities, and an array of disabilities to achieve their goals and live empowered, purposeful lives.
Our Support Workers provide personalised support in areas such as:
- Independent living skills
- Community participation
- Employment preparation and workplace support
- Social and relationship skills
- Emotional wellbeing and resilience
- Daily routines and organisation
- Building confidence and self-advocacy

Required Documents
You must have the following mandatory Compliance:
- NDIS Workers Screen Check (or willingness to obtain them) / Yellow Card / Working with Children Check / Blue Card
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain them)
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for transportation Must have back seats that come down for transporting participants in the community.
- Current vehicle comprehensive car insurance
- Consent to work in Australia documentation (if from another country)
Required Training
Compulsory Qualifications / Training Prior to Application:
- Previous experience working in the disability support sector or related field
- Cert III in Individual Support / Community Services / Mental Health (or equivalent, or proof of enrolment/intention to enrol)
- NDIS Worker Training Modules:
- NDIS Orientation module
- NDIS Induction Module (IF you have not yet gained a Cert 3 in Individual Support)
- NDIS Safe and Enjoyable Meal-Time Training
- Infection Control Certification (Annual Renewal required)
- Friends NOT Family Video
- Reportable Incidents to the NDIA Training
- Work with Diverse People Video
- Autism Training (Optional)
